ACTIVE SCHOOLS MINI LEADERS AWARD

This is a leadership programme that will develop leadership skills in children and a workforce to support all your PE and Sporting activities; a great method of increasing physical activity levels across your whole school.

This is a FREE resource designed specifically for Active Schools that includes teacher’s notes, lesson plans, student handbook and certificate. This course can be delivered in one hour sessions over six weeks.

Outcomes:

• Develop leadership skills and confidence in children.
• Engage your least active children through leadership roles.
• Develop a School Games Workforce - officials, coaches and a School Sport Organising Crew.
• Develop an energetic team to support with PE lessons, playground activity, organisation of equipment, team managers, sports days and inter school sport.
