Leeds School Games: KS3 Cycling Competition 2015

Leeds School Games Cycling Competition at Wharfe Meadows in Otley. Monday 11th May 2015.

Eighteen students took part in team and individual mountain bike races yesterday at Wharfe Meadows park in Otley. The event was delivered by British Cycling in partnership with Leeds SGOs.

"It's fantastic to see so many young people engaging with cycling," said the event lead. "The standard of riding was impressive, and the weather stayed perfect for a day on the bikes."

Students competed in both technical skills courses and endurance laps, highlighting the diversity of the School Games program. We look forward to seeing these participants back for the next round of cycling events later this term.
