Last Wednesday we had 15 schools and over 500 children take part in the Northwest Cross Country! Even though the typical English weather wasn’t on our side, children from Y3-6 took part in a tough course supported by the excellent Y9/10 leaders from Prince Henry’s Grammar School.
Despite the challenging conditions, the enthusiasm and determination shown by all the runners were truly inspiring. These events highlight the importance of grassroots participation and the vibrant sporting spirit within our local school community.
A special thank you to all the staff, volunteers, and the sports leaders whose hard work ensured the event ran smoothly even when things became difficult.
