School Games Y5/6 Bee Netball Come + Try

7 local schools took part in the School Games Y5/6 Come and Try Netball festival at St Mary’s Menston. The event was delivered by x18 Y8/9 leaders who have been learning how to coach and umpire netball.

The leaders delivered warm ups, skills and games to small groups of younger children helping them to develop their confidence and understanding of the game. The atmosphere was fantastic, and it was great to see so many children enjoying active competition.

Well done to all the schools involved and a huge thank you to the Young Leaders who did an excellent job officiating and encouraging their peers throughout the day.
